“Traduttore, traditore”

May 20, 2011

I’ m performing an experiment with myself. Recognizing that my level of French is not “on par” with Baudrillard‘s “Simulacra and Simulation”, I’m reading the portuguese translation, with the original french text close by.

I must say that the portuguese translation is quite good (as far as the 50 pages I’ve read can show). But, still, somethings only make sense by going back and forth between both texts. Baudrillard is not easy, not for a long shot.
