A face with the text
One of the surprising things that the Internet brings you is the possibility of finding and watching videos from the authors you are reading (if they are alive or were alive not long ago, of course).* It is not just seeing the image of the person, it is watching the way they move, gesture, speak. You can follow how they develop their ideas in real time, not just in a page of printed text.
Does this possibility make things easier for the reader or does it take out from the work of imagination? I don’t know the answer, but I will keep trying to figure it out.
*Of course, movies and TV can do the same, but is it a few clicks away?
